Clear Double Glazing are based in Bolton and cover the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester and Lancashire offering replacement double glazed units.

Owned and operated by Andy Dobson who many know as the man behind Atlas Sailing.

Andy has decades of experience in the construction industry but is more known around the North West for being the man behind Atlas Sailing. Andy also has numerous rental properties around the area and this is where the idea to set up Clear Double Glazing came from.

New Beginnings

In recent years Andy has been scaling back the amount of charters he does with Atlas Sailing and had been carrying out maintenance work on his properties himself. When any repairs needed doing on double glazing he found it difficult to find any reliable company to do the work that didn’t charge somewhat high prices and therefore ended up doing it himself.

It was after this that Andy decided that with his experience he would be able to offer a very competitive and reliable service for replacement double glazed units.

As well as the replacement glazing units, Andy is a ‘FENSA‘ accredited installer for uPVC doors and windows, including compostie doors and bifold doors.

Andy says that all he aims to do with the business is offer service and reliability with a promise that the first price you receive will be very fair for the work required.
